Trump uses UN speech to slam China
In his United Nations address on Tuesday, President Trump launched a scathing attack on China.
Blaming Beijing for covering up the early ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, Trump lambasted Xi Jinping's regime as an adversary to the interest of humanity. Had Beijing told the truth about the virus's infectiousness, many lives might have been saved, Trump said. Not just humans, but the world.

Last Best Chance to Capture Supreme Court
Are there Republicans who would really walk away from this last, best chance to secure the court, simply because the process offends their sense of proper procedure? This may be a hard vote for Murkowski, Collins and a few other Republicans. But to vote down a qualified conservative nominee, on the eve of a presidential election, would amount to a crippling blow to their party and to their reputations within that party.
President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are on the cusp of making history.
With Trump having named two justices to the U.S. Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, they have an opening to elevate a third justice to fill the seat of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, thereby securing the constitutionalism of the court for a generation.

The Woman Who Did Everything Else for the Woman Who Did It All
“She told me that her cases got her through surgery, and chemo, that she would lie on the table thinking about the cases.”
Her name is Bronwen Adams but everybody calls her Bronnie and for the last 40 years she was Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s interior decorator and all-round go-to person. A mutual friend told me Bronnie had some stories to share about RBG that those who only know her as an icon would get a kick out of.
Spoiler alert, there’s nothing here that will make you like Ginsburg less, or reveal a private self that she’d kept hidden. Everything Bronnie revealed in our phone conversation strikes me as totally in character with the woman who late in life achieved rap star status, and who is being mourned by millions.

‘Notorious RBG’ will be remembered for victories yet to come
I hear that Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s law clerks had to explain to her that her increasingly popular nickname, “Notorious RBG,” was a compliment.
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall as they explained the nickname’s origin in The Notorious B.I.G., the late “gangsta rap” superstar born Christopher George Latore Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls.
